2nd Annual Health Fair at the Cobble Hill Emergency Department

FRIDAY NIGHT FASHION CLUB

When: Fridays at 5:30 pm, from September 16, 2016 until December 16, 2016

Where: Pioneer Works, 159 Pioneer St. between Van Brunt and Conover

Friday Night Fashion Club is a free, semester-long program for Red Hook teens who are interested in fashion, design, and sewing. We provide all supplies -- including fabric and sewing machines, as well as lots of snacks. At the end of the semester we will showcase our work in a fashion show with lights, DJs, models, and your clothes walking down the runway.

Volunteer Saturdays – Beautify Red Hook Parks

When: Saturdays at 10:00 am, from May 7, 2016 until October 29, 2016

Where: Meeting Site: Red Hook Recreation Center @ 155 Bay Street

Every Saturday until fall we'll be beautifying Red Hook Parks. Help us plant, paint, clean-up, rake. Bring the little ones with you. Dress adequately for the weather as we work rain or sun.

The Resilience Corp, an AmeriCorps National Service Program that seeks to make Red Hook safer, stronger and a more resilient community. Members will work with a mentor from the community to achieve goals and perform service project throughout the neighborhood.
