Participatory Budgeting- Budget Delegate Orientation

When: Dec 17, 2014 6:30-8:30 pm

Where: Joseph Miccio Community Center, 110 W 9th St, Brooklyn, NY 11231

We are on to the next phase of Participatory Budgeting! Delegates selected at the Assemblies will have the opportunity to learn about the budget process, project development, and key spending areas, then form committees. We are also looking for Volunteer Delegates. If interested please stop by the meeting. Budget Delegates take the ideas suggested by community members at the neighborhood assemblies and elsewhere, and turn them into concrete proposals to put on the final ballot.

Red Hook Initiative is looking to fill two full time positions. Red Hook residents are strongly encouraged to apply! The Social Worker responsibilities will include individual and family counseling, one-on-one coaching and goal setting, and focused group work. Free Dance Aerobics

When: Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, from November 19, 2014 until June 7, 2015

Where: Miccio Community Center 110 West 9th Street
