B71 Meeting with MTA President Byford Red Hook Stand Up!

When: May 29, 2018 6:30-8:30 pm

Where: John Jay High School 237 7th Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11215

Now, we have a chance to make our case to the one person who matters most: MTA/NYC Transit President Andy Byford. On Tuesday, May 29th, from 6:30 - 8:30, Assembly Member Robert Carroll is holding an MTA Town Hall with Byford at the John Jay Educational Complex at 237 7th Avenue (between 4th & 5th Streets in Park Slope). This is a great chance to make your voice heard -- to let President Byford know how desperately our community wants the B71 bus back. Please bring signs, stories, testimony, model buses, whatever you’ve got! Byford recently announced the MTA’s new “Bus Action Plan,” a strong plan to improve bus service in New York City, with efforts to speed up buses, reduce board times, and much more. As part of the plan, we promised to take a hard look at new routes. So here’s our chance to put the B71 at the top of his list. So I hope to see you there!
