As the fourth anniversary of Super Storm Sandy approaches, SBIDC and NYC Small Business Services are hosting a FREE Emergency Preparedness Workshop for both retail and industrial businesses.
From gas leaks and fires to major storms and flooding, as a business owner in New York City you face many challenges that can impact your operations and assets. Join us in Red Hook, Brooklyn to get ready for the unexpected and learn about a new grant program for business preparedness.
You Will Learn How To:
– Stay in business: Identify your key business operations, employees, and documents
– Protect your investments: Understand how to protect your assets and navigate insurance processes
– Apply for Risk Assessment & Grant: Get one-on-one advice and money to take action.
Additionally, NYC Department of City Planning will also briefly present their study on resilient retail and industrial businesses.
