Dear Friends, At NYU Langone, we have many community partners working to advance vaccine uptake and address hesitancy on the front lines. To support this important work and provide you with reliable information and the latest news regarding distribution, the NYU Community Health Worker Research & Resource Center (CHW-RRC) is pleased to announce that we are hosting a COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall specifically for community health workers, patient navigators, and other frontline staff working in New York City on Friday, February 5th from 12-2 PM. The town hall will include presentations by Dr. Mark Mulligan, Director of the NYU Langone Vaccine Center and Dr. ‘Simbo Ige, Assistant Commissioner, Bureau of Health Capacity Building at the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Following their presentations, there will be a Q&A session moderated by Ivette Cabrera, CHW at NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn. The presentations will cover frequently asked questions about COVID-19 vaccine safety, efficacy, and distribution.
