Summer is in full swing here at the Brooklyn Public Library Adult Learning Centers! Our classes are rolling and always accepting new students for Adult Basic Education, pre-HSE, HSE, TASC-prep and ESOL. If you would like to refer anyone to our programs please have them attend a screening: bklynlib.org/HSE (or see the attached flyer!)
We are also holding a Mental Health First Aid Certification Training at the Bedford Library Adult Learning Center on Friday August 3rd - which we would love for you to attend! MHFA is a day-long training that teaches the skills needed to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance abuse challenges and crises. We think this training will be a great opportunity to learn about ways to better support our community residents. This training is open to everyone, including client and students.
