The Arts Strategies Department of the Center for Court Innovation is searching for artists or creative people to apply for the opportunity to use the arts to foster community safety, healing, a sense of belonging to place, or civic engagement in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Artists and arts organizations with a strong connection to Red Hook are encouraged to propose projects that will be supported with up to $40,000 and will start in March 2020. Recruiting US Census Workers

The U.S. Census Bureau is currently hiring for a variety of temporary full-time and flexible part-time jobs for the 2020 Census, including census takers, office staff, and supervisory staff. No resumes or cover letters are required to apply. Pay rates start at $28 per hour!

During this recruiting event, you will learn about the importance of the Census, the available job opportunities, and how to apply on-the-spot. Representatives from the United States Census Bureau will be at this event to assist you.

To be eligible, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Be a U.S. citizen
Have a valid Social Security number
Have a valid, working email address.
Be registered with the Selective Service System or have a qualifying exemption, if you are a male born after Dec. 31, 1959
