The NYCHA Food Business Pathways Program has a competitive, multi-step application process based on qualifications and proven interest. The following is the process for application and selection:

Pick up a bag of fresh produce from our Red Hook Community Farm. Your bag can include greens, herbs, and severy pounds of vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, peppers and zucchini.
Every Wednesday from 4pm-8pm in front of the Miccio 110 West 9th Street or
Every Saturday from 10am to 3pm at the Red Hook Community Farm 560 Columbia Street.
Who is eligible: Any one living in NYCHA housing or anyone paying with SNAP benefits.

6-weeks paid construction training that includes the OSHA 10 Hour Certification, Flaggers Safety Training Certificate, Home Builders Institute Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training. Participants will receive steel toed boots, safety goggles, gloves, coveralls, hardhats, and a $1000 stipend.
Please bring Proof of Citizenship (Social Security Card, Birth Certificate, or U.S. Passport), proof of address (mail addressed to you), proof of income for head of household (tax return, pay stub, benefits letter, or statement of unemployment).
