The NYCHA Food Business Pathways Program has a competitive, multi-step application process based on qualifications and proven interest. The following is the process for application and selection:

Pick up a bag of fresh produce from our Red Hook Community Farm. Your bag can include greens, herbs, and severy pounds of vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, peppers and zucchini.
Every Wednesday from 4pm-8pm in front of the Miccio 110 West 9th Street or
Every Saturday from 10am to 3pm at the Red Hook Community Farm 560 Columbia Street.
Who is eligible: Any one living in NYCHA housing or anyone paying with SNAP benefits.

Hazards: Periods of heavy rainfall will cause widespread flooding of poor drainage and low-lying urban areas. Heavy rain will continue at a rate of up to a .25 of an inch per hour through the overnight and into the morning.
– Do not drive your vehicle or walk into areas where water covers the roadway as the water depth may be too great to allow you to cross safely.
– Move to higher ground.
