Wegmans Food Markets is opening its first NYC storefront at the Brooklyn Navy Yards in 2019!
They are looking to hire 500 new career-track employees.
Red Hook residents that are 18+ will receive first priority if you attend this info session.
You will learn about the company, employee benefits, and the application process.
This event will take place on Saturday December 15th at the Red Hook Initiative. Attached is a flyer that appeals to those who can contribute New Toys for this event. We will also be establishing Drop-off sites within the community. Currently you can bring toys to RHI as well as CopperPot (formerly Hope & Anchor). My hopes is that the Red Hook community would rally around this event and bring hope to families who may take this time of the year as one of despair and brokenness. If you have any questions regarding this event, donations, or anything else feel free to contact me directly of Tony Russell at Tony@RedemptionRedHook.com
