The Arts Strategies Department of the Center for Court Innovation is searching for artists or creative people to apply for the opportunity to use the arts to foster community safety, healing, a sense of belonging to place, or civic engagement in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Artists and arts organizations with a strong connection to Red Hook are encouraged to propose projects that will be supported with up to $40,000 and will start in March 2020. We are looking for a dynamic, engaging chef or culinary professional to help lead a group of our students through a spectrum of culinary experiences, from introductory knife skills to professional level food preparation. The U.S. Census Bureau is currently hiring for a variety of temporary full-time and flexible part-time jobs for the 2020 Census, including census takers, office staff, and supervisory staff. During this recruiting event, you will learn about the importance of the Census, the available job opportunities, and how to apply on-the-spot.
